Global X Investments Canada Inc. set a $0.122 monthly U.S.-dollar distribution for the Global X Mid-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF, with payment scheduled on or about Nov. 6.

The fund’s MPAY and MPAY.U units are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and both are included in the distribution. Friday, Oct. 30, is the ex-dividend and record date.

MPAY trades in Canadian dollars, while the distribution is declared and paid in U.S. dollars. Holders can receive the payment in cash or through the fund’s reinvestment plan if they are enrolled.

The ETF seeks exposure to U.S. Treasury securities and generally targets a duration of five to 10 years. It makes monthly distributions from interest income and option premiums and uses a dynamic options program.
