Aero ranked No. 1 on decentralized exchange charts for Base and Optimism days after its Oct. 21 launch, giving the merged platform top placements on two networks in its seven-network rollout.

Aero's account, @aeroxyz, highlighted the Base and Optimism positions. The rankings do not show how much trading the exchange handled, and Aero's own trading volume was not disclosed.

Formed from Aerodrome and Velodrome, Aero launched on Ethereum mainnet, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ink, OP Mainnet, Arc and Arbitrum. Those networks see about $120 billion in monthly decentralized exchange volume collectively. That figure covers network-wide trading and does not measure Aero's activity. TokenPost previously detailed the [seven-network rollout](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/37846>).

A decentralized exchange lets users trade directly without an intermediary. A chart ranking shows a position, not a dollar total for trades.
