> The reversal followed $1.84 million in outflows the prior week. Bitcoin (BTC) funds posted net inflows, while Ether (ETH) and Solana (SOL) funds recorded net outflows.

About $4.25 million flowed into U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds on a net basis during the week ended Friday, Oct. 23 (ET), reversing the prior week’s outflow as flows across major crypto funds split by asset.

The reversal followed [$1.84 million in net outflows in the week ended Oct. 16 (ET)](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/34124>). That withdrawal ended a 13-week run of positive weekly flows for the XRP funds.

The new inflows came on two days. XRP funds added about $708,500 on Wednesday, Oct. 21 (ET), followed by about $3.55 million on Thursday, Oct. 22 (ET). Thursday accounted for most of the weekly total.

The funds recorded no net flow on Monday, Oct. 19 (ET), Tuesday, Oct. 20 (ET), or Friday, Oct. 23 (ET). The full-week figure therefore reflects the gains on Wednesday and Thursday rather than inflows throughout the trading week.

Other U.S. spot crypto ETF groups moved in different directions over the same period. Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs posted net inflows, while Ether (ETH) and Solana (SOL) ETFs recorded net outflows. The comparison covers fund flows for the same Oct. 19-23 (ET) trading week.

Net flows measure money entering a fund minus money leaving it. An outflow does not, by itself, mean that a fund’s investments lost value. The weekly figures show differing patterns of subscriptions and withdrawals across the asset groups, not their investment returns.

As of Friday, Oct. 23 (ET), XRP funds had about $1.80 billion in cumulative net inflows and $1.48 billion in net assets. Cumulative inflows add up net flows over time; net assets measure the value of the funds’ holdings at a particular point. The two figures describe different aspects of the funds and are not interchangeable.

Flow totals also do not identify the investors behind the transactions or explain their decisions. The $4.25 million weekly inflow therefore does not establish whether institutional investors drove the reversal.
