> Stock-linked markets led at the $10 million and $5 million marks, while native altcoin contracts still posted slightly higher combined 24-hour volume.

Stock-linked contracts on Hyperliquid crossed two major 24-hour volume cutoffs more often than altcoin contracts in the Oct. 26 snapshot, even as native altcoins retained a slight edge in aggregate trading.

The stock-related group includes contracts tied to equities, indexes and stock exchange-traded funds; commodity contracts such as oil and gold were excluded. Twenty-three stock-related contracts exceeded $10 million in 24-hour volume, compared with 13 altcoin contracts. At the $5 million threshold, the count was 31 for stock-related contracts and 21 for altcoins.

The result reflects market breadth rather than total volume: more stock-related contracts cleared each cutoff, but native altcoins still had a slightly larger combined total. Native altcoin contracts on Hyperliquid posted about $1.254 billion in 24-hour volume, just above the $1.222 billion across stock-related instruments.

That altcoin total was concentrated in a few contracts. HYPE recorded about $294 million and ZEC about $290 million, together accounting for 46.6% of native altcoin volume, compared with 38.7% on Sept. 24. Adding NEAR and SOL brought the four contracts’ combined share to 65.7%.

Excluding HYPE and ZEC leaves about $670 million across remaining native altcoin contracts on Hyperliquid. Stock-related contracts had about $1.222 billion in volume, 1.82 times that amount. Native altcoin volume fell 69.5% from $4.108 billion on Sept. 24 and 40% from $2.088 billion on Sept. 7.

The number of altcoin contracts with more than $10 million in 24-hour volume rose from 27 on Sept. 7 to 38 on Sept. 24, then fell to 13 in the latest snapshot. At the $5 million cutoff, the count moved from 35 to 52 and then 21. Fewer altcoin contracts cleared either level in the Oct. 26 snapshot than at the Sept. 24 high.

Across Hyperliquid, average daily volume for Oct. 19-25 was about $7.564 billion, down from $9.163 billion for Sept. 21-27. Average daily volume in native crypto contracts declined to $4.795 billion from $7.224 billion. HIP-3, which centers mainly on U.S. stocks and commodities, moved higher: Its average daily volume rose to $2.769 billion from $1.939 billion, lifting its share of platform volume to 36.6% from 21.2%.
