> Withdrawals made up 55.75% of Binance’s XRP deposit and withdrawal transactions and 54.85% across centralized exchanges. Balances at three exchanges rose by 120 million XRP in a separate measure.

XRP withdrawals accounted for their largest share of exchange deposit and withdrawal transactions since Aug. 18 on Oct. 25, while a separate measure showed exchange balances rising over an earlier period.

Withdrawals represented 55.75% of the seven-day transaction mix on Binance and 54.85% across the centralized-exchange series. Both shares were below their Aug. 18 readings of 56.75% and 55.4%, respectively. Deposits accounted for 44.25% on Binance and 45.15% across the broader series on Oct. 25, compared with 43.25% and 44.5% on Aug. 18.

The measure counts deposit and withdrawal transactions, not the amount of XRP moved. It cannot show whether more XRP left exchanges than entered them or whether total exchange holdings declined. “These seven-day shares measure transaction counts, not XRP volumes or net flows; declining deposit shares mirror rising withdrawal shares,” Amr Taha wrote.

A separate balance measure showed combined XRP holdings at Binance, Upbit and Bithumb rising from 10.83 billion XRP on Oct. 5 to 10.95 billion on Oct. 20, an increase of 120 million XRP. The Oct. 20 figure remained provisional pending final daily confirmation. This reading covers three exchanges and an earlier period, so it cannot be combined with the Oct. 25 transaction share to calculate net flows.

The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is scheduled to meet Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 27-28. Its rate decision is due at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday (18:00 UTC), followed by a press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET (18:30 UTC). At its Sept. 16 meeting, the committee voted 12-0 to raise the federal funds target range by 25 basis points, to 3.75% to 4%.
