> Brown put $626 as a longer-term level and said a weekly close below it would fill a price gap he associates with Muse’s launch.

Ritholtz Wealth Management CEO Josh Brown said Meta Platforms needs to regain $664 to improve its post-earnings chart setup, while a weekly close below $626 would fill a price gap he is watching.

Brown identified $664 as Meta’s 50-day moving average and said the stock would need to move back above it before his chart assessment changed. He put $626 as a longer-term level for investors to watch. His Oct. 26 column placed shares near $643, about 3% above $626; that was the price cited in his analysis, not a confirmed closing price. The two figures serve different roles in Brown’s assessment: $664 is a recovery level, while $626 is a longer-term reference.

Brown tied the gap to Muse’s launch and set its lower edge at $625; he said a weekly finish below $626 would close it. The figures reflect Brown’s chart analysis.

Brown also said Meta crossed his earlier $685 trader stop during the Oct. 22 decline. He said traders following the stop would have exited near the opening price; Meta opened at $676.35 that day. The exit description was hypothetical, rather than a confirmed execution price for stop orders.

“There’s no new trade here,” Brown wrote, describing his view of the setup.

Meta reported $64.601 billion in revenue for the third quarter, up 26% from a year earlier. Capital expenditures totaled $34.91 billion, including principal payments on finance leases, and free cash flow was negative $2.12 billion. Meta raised the low end of its 2026 capital expenditure outlook to $135 billion from $130 billion and kept the upper end at $145 billion, extending the [higher spending outlook](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/37653>) the company announced with its results.
