> The listed settlement rate was 0.006682%, while the 24-hour total through the same cutoff was -0.000482%.

A funding snapshot for OKX's Dogecoin perpetual contract showed a positive rate at noon ET Oct. 26 alongside a negative 24-hour total at the same cutoff.

The snapshot listed a 0.006682% settlement rate at noon ET (16:00 UTC) and a -0.000482% total for the 24 hours ending then. The figures describe the snapshot at that cutoff; they do not establish that positive funding continued afterward.

Positive funding means long positions pay short positions. When funding is negative, payments go from short positions to long positions. TokenPost previously covered DOGE funding in an [Oct. 18 perpetual-futures snapshot](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/34511>).
