> The payout is 2.2% below the $0.4702 distribution declared Oct. 20. The fund set Oct. 28 as both the ex-dividend and record date.

YieldMax ETFs set a $0.4598 weekly distribution for the YieldMax Semiconductor Portfolio Option Income ETF (CHPY), with payment due Oct. 29 and the amount down 2.2% from the prior week.

The payment is $0.0104 below the $0.4702 distribution declared Oct. 20. CHPY set Oct. 28 as both its ex-dividend date and record date, one day before payment. The record date determines which shareholders qualify for a distribution; holders recorded on Oct. 28 are eligible for this one.

The new payout follows a [prior $0.514-per-share CHPY distribution](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/31354>) announced Oct. 13. The current amount is $0.0542 below that earlier distribution. Compared with the more recent Oct. 20 declaration, the decrease is $0.0104 per share.

CHPY’s distribution rate stood at 40.42% at the Oct. 26 close. The rate annualizes the latest per-share distribution against CHPY’s latest net asset value (NAV). It does not represent the fund’s total return.

CHPY’s 30-day SEC yield was -0.38% for the period ended Sept. 30. That measure excludes option income, while the distribution rate uses the latest payment annualized against NAV; the figures describe separate measures.

The actively managed fund seeks current income and capital appreciation through a portfolio of about 15 to 30 publicly traded semiconductor companies. Its strategy includes selling call spreads on portfolio holdings, and it aims to distribute income weekly. YieldMax ETFs said, “Distributions are not guaranteed.”

The fund’s current distribution is scheduled for payment Oct. 29.
