Bitcoin (BTC) remained below $82,000 Wednesday after U.S. spot funds posted $286 million in net inflows over Monday and Tuesday, ahead of the Federal Reserve’s rate decision.

The funds recorded about $110 million in inflows Monday and $176 million Tuesday. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $151.5 million of Tuesday’s total. The two-day net inflow followed nearly $774 million in fund withdrawals on Thursday and Friday of the previous week.

The rebound left U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs with about $26 million in net outflows for October. Their year-to-date net inflows stood at roughly $850 million. Spot Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction, with about $149 million in net outflows across Monday and Tuesday and $1.32 billion in outflows for October.

Bitcoin was $81,297 at 7:53 a.m. ET (11:53 UTC) Oct. 28. Its daily chart placed it below the nine-day moving average of $81,416 and the 21-day average of $81,905. The relative strength index was 45.52, below the 50 mark identified as neutral.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 51 from 48, remaining in neutral territory. A week earlier, it was at 63, classified as greed. The Bull Score Index fell from 90 to 60.

Net exchange withdrawals totaled about 14,942 BTC, the largest daily outflow in five weeks. Markets expected the Fed to leave its target range at 3.75% to 4.00%, following a quarter-point increase in September. The Fed’s decision was scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28. Traders were watching Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s remarks on inflation and the December outlook.
