> Private credit made up about 58% of Morpho RWA deposits on Sept. 26; four assets represented 57.9% of Morpho collateral on Oct. 1.

Morpho’s real-world-asset (RWA) markets showed $2.145 billion in deposits and $894.18 million in outstanding loans on Oct. 28, highlighting the scale of lending tied to tokenized assets.

Deposits measure assets supplied to the markets; outstanding loans measure borrowing. The two balances do not show how much supplied capital lenders could withdraw immediately or how much credit reached borrowers outside crypto.

On Sept. 26, Morpho’s RWA deposits were about $1.58 billion and active loans were $641 million, compared with $1.07 billion and $411 million on July 1. Deposits rose 48.7% and active loans rose 55.8% over that period. Private credit made up about 58% of deposits and 59% of active loans on Sept. 26. These figures use a separate dataset and do not establish a like-for-like growth rate through Oct. 28.

As of Oct. 1, Morpho RWA collateral totaled $1.10 billion, representing assets pledged against loans rather than deposits. Four assets—PRIME, PT-reUSD, syrupUSDG on Robinhood Chain and Huma’s PST—accounted for $637 million, or about 57.9%, of collateral in that dataset. PRIME accounted for $270 million, PT-reUSD for $136 million, syrupUSDG on Robinhood Chain for $128 million and Huma’s PST for $103 million. Borrowing was split across USDC (38%), PYUSD (35%) and USDG (17%).

Borrower positions were concentrated within some collateral types. The 10 largest positions held 78% of PRIME collateral and 97% of PST collateral, while one position held 81% of syrupUSDC collateral. These figures describe pledged assets and borrower positions, not the dashboard’s deposit total.

Morpho positions become eligible for liquidation when their loan-to-value ratio exceeds a market’s threshold. Oracle problems, collateral shortfalls that leave bad debt and low market liquidity pose risks. Limited liquidity can prevent lenders from withdrawing supplied assets for a period.

Robinhood Stock Tokens are debt securities. They give holders financial exposure to underlying securities without granting legal or beneficial rights in the issuers.
