> The increase ranked third among chains, behind BNB Chain and Solana. Market capitalization measures value, not trading volume or cash inflows.

Tokenized stocks on OKX’s X Layer network gained $32 million in market capitalization over a rolling seven-day period, placing X Layer third among chains for the increase, behind BNB Chain and Solana.

Market capitalization reflects the value of shares issued onchain at market prices. The change can result from shifts in token prices, token supply or both, so it does not represent $32 million in trading volume or cash entering the network. The ranking compares seven-day increases, not the total value of tokenized stocks on each chain.

The gain also does not show whether stock-related transactions or network fees increased. OKB is X Layer’s only gas and native token. Gas tokens are used to pay transaction fees on a blockchain. The market-cap increase does not establish greater demand for OKB.

OKX’s Unified Tokenized Stocks product, powered by xStocks, supports 24/7 trading and deposits and withdrawals on X Layer and Solana. The tokens provide exposure to stock prices but do not give holders ownership in the underlying companies or shareholder rights such as voting.

The product is not offered to U.S. persons or within the United States. The increase in X Layer’s market capitalization therefore does not show that U.S. customers can access the service.
