> ZEC was down 0.62% over 24 hours, while TokenPost’s cross-exchange tally showed $1.09 million in long liquidations during the same one-hour period.

Zcash (ZEC) fell 6.53% in four hours to $1,300 on Binance at 4:10 p.m. ET (20:10 UTC) Thursday, Oct. 29, based on TokenPost’s collection of spot-market prices. The move erased $91 from the token’s price over the interval.

TokenPost calculated the four-hour change from Binance’s publicly displayed spot ZEC/USDT quotes: ZEC was at $1,391 four hours before the latest reading. Its 24-hour change at the same observation was a smaller 0.62% decline, leaving the four-hour drop steeper than the net decline over the full day.

A TokenPost aggregation of Zcash liquidations on Binance, Bybit and OKX recorded $1.09 million in long liquidations and $120,000 in short liquidations during the same one-hour period. The combined amount was $1.21 million, with long positions accounting for about 90% of the total.

Zcash’s market capitalization was about $22.45 billion, ranking it 11th among crypto assets. The figures show a steep short-term decline alongside a much smaller 24-hour loss.
