Ether (ETH) rose 1.24% in the hour through 11:58 p.m. ET Oct. 29 (03:58 UTC Oct. 30), reaching $2,237 on Binance's ETH/USDT spot market in TokenPost's direct collection of exchange prices.

The previous hourly reading, taken at 10:58 p.m. ET (02:58 UTC), was $2,209. The two Binance spot observations show a $28 increase across the one-hour window. Both values refer to the same ETH/USDT trading pair.

Liquidations totaled $4.39 million in short positions across Binance, Bybit and OKX over the same hour. Long liquidations were $0, leaving the measured activity entirely on the short side in the three-exchange aggregate.

The update combines two market measures: Binance's spot quote for the price comparison and a three-exchange total for liquidations. Both cover the hour ending at 11:58 p.m. ET. Ether ranked second among crypto assets by market value at about $270.5626 billion.
