The 24-hour change uses a longer measurement window and was negative 2.03%. That leaves XRP’s four-hour advance alongside a decline over the full day, showing the two percentages reflect different comparisons rather than conflicting price readings.

XRP liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $500,000 for the same one-hour period. Short liquidations totaled $450,000, compared with $50,000 in long liquidations, making the short total nine times the long total. Those liquidation totals describe a separate trading measure from the spot-price changes.
