> Intel was down 26.51% in early premarket trading after its outlook set final-quarter sales at $15 billion to $16 billion; Binance put its incident’s impact at $6.3 billion.

The Invesco QQQ Trust fell 2.14% in premarket trading Friday at 4:29 a.m. ET, as investors weighed whether heavy artificial intelligence spending would earn adequate returns for technology companies.

QQQ traded at $700, $15.34 below Thursday’s regular-session close of $715.34. That was a premarket reading, not a completed session loss. Intel stood at $67.66, down 26.51%, at 4:31 a.m. ET. Both quotes came before the U.S. market opened.

Intel posted $16.5 billion in revenue for its third quarter, a 21% rise from a year earlier. It set October-December sales at $15 billion to $16 billion and its non-GAAP earnings target at 25 cents a share.

Separately, Binance estimated the impact of its security incident at about $6.3 billion and said roughly $3 billion in affected assets had been frozen on-chain. The exchange pledged to cover losses using its Secure Asset Fund for Users and company funds.

Binance’s preliminary review pointed to a possible compromise of a DevOps engineer’s laptop, followed by unauthorized withdrawal transactions. Binance has not identified a suspect.
