> The address received 499.067 billion SHIB from Binance 14 on Oct. 29. A late-night snapshot showed 403.905 billion SHIB remaining across tracked wallets.

An Ethereum address tied to Binance’s Oct. 29 security incident received 499,067,016,878.215 Shiba Inu (SHIB) from Binance 14 on Thursday afternoon. The address later moved about 96.02 billion SHIB through three decentralized-exchange swaps, adding a specific token trail to the incident’s on-chain activity.

The transfer occurred at 4:24:23 p.m. ET Thursday (20:24:23 UTC). The three swaps followed between 9:26 p.m. and 9:27 p.m. ET Thursday (01:26–01:27 UTC Friday). They involved 35.24 billion, 40.86 billion and 19.92 billion SHIB, respectively.

A snapshot of tracked wallets at about 11:34 p.m. ET Thursday (03:34 UTC Friday) showed 403,905,059,335 SHIB remaining. The snapshot covered wallets associated with the incident; it was a later balance reading, not a revised estimate of the incident’s total impact.

The often-cited 0.05% share compares roughly 500 billion SHIB with the token’s original one quadrillion supply. The 499.067 billion SHIB transfer was about 0.085% of the 589.23 trillion SHIB listed as circulating on Oct. 30. The two percentages use different supply totals.

Binance put the incident’s impact at about $6.3 billion and reported that roughly $3 billion was frozen on-chain. Its initial investigation suggested a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop enabled unauthorized withdrawals through a service container. Binance said it found no evidence of a wallet private-key leak and would cover losses with its SAFU fund and company funds. “User funds are safe,” Binance said.
