> Binance accounted for 49.8% of the total. Its BTCUSDT pair recorded the largest single liquidation, valued at about $11.09 million.

Crypto markets saw $1.652 billion in forced position closures over 24 hours, with long trades making up most of the total and Binance accounting for nearly half of the activity. The scale of the reported total highlights the volume of leveraged positions closed across the market during the period.

Binance represented 49.8% of all liquidations, or just under half of the reported dollar value. The largest single liquidation was on Binance's BTCUSDT trading pair and was valued at about $11.0867 million. That individual closure was part of the broader total, which aggregates liquidations across the 24-hour period.

Most of the liquidations came from long positions, which are trades that benefit when an asset's price rises. In a leveraged trade, an exchange can close a position when a trader no longer has enough margin to support it; these forced closures are counted as liquidations. The 24-hour figure reflects the total value of positions closed, while the Binance figure identifies the exchange with the largest share.
