> Tempo added $98.2 million and the XRP Ledger $58.3 million. The figures track market-cap changes, not transaction volume.

Arc recorded the largest seven-day increase in stablecoin market capitalization among the networks in a new ranking, rising $252.2 million, a measure of balances rather than payment volume.

Tempo added $98.2 million, placing second, while the XRP Ledger ranked third with a $58.3 million increase. Arc’s gain exceeded Tempo’s by $154 million and the XRP Ledger’s by $193.9 million.

The ranking tracks changes in the combined market value of stablecoins outstanding on each network. It does not count how many transfers took place or how much stablecoin value moved through a network during the period.

For a circulating asset, market capitalization is calculated by multiplying its circulating supply by its end-of-day price. A change in that measure can reflect a supply change, a price change or both. The ranking does not break out those components for the networks listed.

The figures also do not establish that the increases were net deposits or show whether stablecoins were newly issued, moved from another network or associated with payment activity. They describe changes in market value, not the reason for those changes.

A [previous seven-day comparison using percentage changes](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/44617>) showed Arc up 30.23% and the XRP Ledger up 4.96%. That comparison measured relative changes, while the new ranking compares dollar amounts, so the figures offer different views of stablecoin market changes.

Circle launched Arc’s public mainnet Sept. 16. The company designed the network for financial markets, fast money movement and economic activity involving software agents. Network fees on Arc are paid in USD Coin (USDC).

Tempo was incubated by Stripe and Paradigm and describes itself as a blockchain focused on stablecoins and real-world payments. The ranking recorded market-cap increases on Arc and Tempo, two networks designed around financial or payment activity. It does not establish that payment settlement or software-agent activity drove Arc’s increase, or explain the XRP Ledger’s change.
