A packed U.S. calendar next week will bring Palantir Technologies and Advanced Micro Devices earnings, congressional elections and the October jobs report within five days, giving investors several scheduled events to track. Palantir scheduled its third-quarter results for after the market close Monday, Nov. 2, with a webcast at 5 p.m. ET. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will release fiscal third-quarter results after the close Tuesday, Nov. 3. Its conference call is also set for 5 p.m. ET. Congressional elections also take place Nov. 3. They will determine party control in each chamber for the next two years. Every House seat and roughly one-third of Senate seats are on the ballot. Mad Money host Jim Cramer warned Friday, Oct. 30, that market volatility may continue as earnings, elections and the jobs report approach. He raised concern that a change in congressional control could threaten planned data-center projects amid debate over AI spending. Cramer also forecast strong hiring and limited wage growth; those are expectations, not reported results. “Don’t try to call the bottom in the Nasdaq just yet,” Cramer said.
