> October PCE data is scheduled for Nov. 25, giving policymakers another inflation reading before their Dec. 8-9 meeting.

Bitcoin (BTC) traders will get October’s U.S. Consumer Price Index reading Nov. 10, with another inflation report due before the Federal Reserve’s final scheduled meeting of 2026.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has scheduled the October CPI release for 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). It will be the last scheduled CPI report before the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meets Dec. 8-9.

That will not be the last inflation reading before the meeting. The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) is scheduled to release its October Personal Income and Outlays report, which includes the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, on Nov. 25 at 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). The Fed uses the PCE price index’s 12-month rate to assess its 2% longer-run inflation goal.

The latest available figures are for September. CPI rose 0.6% from August on a seasonally adjusted basis and 3.7% over 12 months. Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, increased 0.3% for the month and 2.6% year over year. The PCE price index rose 0.5% month over month and 3.6% year over year; core PCE rose 0.3% for the month and 3.1% over 12 months.

The FOMC held its federal funds target range at 3.75%-4% on Oct. 28 in a 10-2 vote. Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa D. Cook and Cleveland Fed President Beth M. Hammack favored a 0.25-percentage-point increase. The upcoming inflation releases are among the data policymakers will have before the December meeting; neither the CPI schedule nor the figures available for September establish a direction for Bitcoin’s price.

The November Employment Situation is scheduled for Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC), four days before the FOMC meeting begins.
