> BlackRock’s IBIT gained about $932 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC shed roughly $755 million.

October ended with ETF redemptions exceeding creations by about $515 million, after roughly $643 million in net withdrawals on the final trading day.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) took in about $932 million during the month. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) lost roughly $755 million, while ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) recorded about $444 million in outflows.

The monthly totals vary slightly: one tally put outflows at $515.0 million, while adding the displayed daily figures gives $515.9 million. The figures for Friday, Oct. 30, also differ, with one count showing $643.3 million in outflows and another $643.2 million.

The funds posted net inflows in 13 of October’s 22 U.S. trading sessions and net outflows in nine. The final session’s withdrawal pushed the month’s overall balance into negative territory. A fund’s net flow is the value of newly created shares less the value of shares redeemed; it measures capital entering or leaving funds, not all ETF share trading.
