BlackRock’s iShares High Yield Muni Active ETF (HIMU) will pay $0.197929 per share on Thursday, Nov. 5. Nov. 2 is both the ex-dividend date and the record date.

The fund’s November distribution is lower than its October payment of $0.200853 per share, which was paid Oct. 6. The declaration date for the November payout was Oct. 30.

The full November amount is classified as income, with no short-term or long-term capital gains or return of capital listed. That classification does not establish the payment’s final tax treatment.

HIMU is actively managed and seeks a high level of income exempt from federal income taxes. Under normal conditions, it invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus investment-purpose borrowings, in municipal bonds.
