> Ralph Lauren and Tapestry are scheduled to report earnings Thursday, Nov. 5, as Cramer points to company-specific growth and turnaround efforts.

Mad Money host Jim Cramer put six apparel companies in focus Monday as two sector funds moved in opposite directions. The SPDR S&P Retail ETF was up 10% this quarter, while the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund was down 11%. Cramer said lower interest rates may support apparel sellers as the holiday shopping season approaches.

The companies he highlighted were Ralph Lauren, Tapestry, Levi Strauss, VF Corp, Kontoor Brands and Reformation. Ralph Lauren and Tapestry are scheduled to release quarterly results Thursday, Nov. 5, setting up near-term updates on two of the names.

Ralph Lauren remains Cramer's top apparel pick. The company has maintained growth during CEO Patrice Louvet's tenure, with progress in women's clothing, accessories and outerwear. It has also expanded its reach abroad, especially in Asia. After shares weakened in August and September, they recovered, and Cramer is optimistic ahead of Thursday's earnings release.

Tapestry, owner of Coach and Kate Spade, reports the same day. Its stock has dropped 20% since its August earnings release, when its outlook failed to impress investors after a multiyear rally. Cramer sees Coach's position in accessible luxury and its popularity among younger women as strengths. He hopes Thursday's results could mark the start of a recovery for Tapestry.

Levi Strauss shares slipped below $20 following a disappointing earnings release several weeks ago, then climbed more than 20% from the post-report low. CEO Michelle Gass told Cramer the company acted quickly to address shortages of popular styles. Cramer described Levi Strauss as a potential turnaround story.

At VF Corp, which owns Vans, The North Face and Timberland, Cramer pointed to a recent teen survey and the company's latest quarterly results as signs that Vans may be recovering after years of difficulty. Kontoor Brands plans to sell Lee for as much as $1 billion and concentrate on Wrangler and Helly Hansen. Cramer expects substantial share repurchases after the sale and said the remaining businesses have room to expand.

Reformation, the women's fashion company that went public in late July, struggled soon after its IPO but rose more than 31% in October. Cramer cited its growth and profitability, and praised its distinctive shopping experience and technology component.
