> Three earlier October declines were followed by large November gains, but XRP’s median November return from 2013 through 2025 was a 9.1% loss.

XRP (XRP) fell 16% in October, its fourth-worst October since 2013, adding another losing month to a record in which November returns have varied sharply.

Only three Octobers in that span had deeper losses: 44.8% in 2013, 22.9% in 2018 and 16.6% in 2024. The 2026 decline came closest to the 2024 result, finishing 0.6 percentage points above it.

A losing October has sometimes been followed by a sharp November gain. After XRP fell in October 2013, it gained 489.1% the next month. October declines in 2020 and 2024 preceded November gains of 179.2% and 282.9%, respectively. Those are past outcomes, not a result for November 2026.

The broader record of XRP’s November returns is mixed. Of the 13 completed Novembers from 2013 through 2025, six finished higher and seven were flat or lower.

Across those 13 months, the average November return was 78.3%, while the median was a 9.1% loss. The average includes four particularly large gains: 489.1% in 2013, 148.2% in 2014, 179.2% in 2020 and 282.9% in 2024.

The average adds all 13 returns and divides by 13, so those large gains have a substantial effect on it. The median is the middle result when the returns are ordered. Their difference shows why the positive average does not describe a typical November in this record.

October’s close adds another losing October, but its October-to-November outcome is not yet known. The historical November figures stop at 2025 and do not establish the direction of the current month. November 2026 will enter the completed monthly record after its month-end close.
