# Long Positions Make Up 81.3% of $396 Million in Crypto Liquidations

About $322 million in long positions were liquidated during a 24-hour crypto market tally, making up 81.3% of the $396 million total. The tally counted 96,160 liquidated traders.

Short positions accounted for $73.9 million, or 18.7% of the total. Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations reached about $107 million, with longs representing 82.4% of that amount. Ether (ETH) liquidations totaled about $59.9 million, including 66% from longs.

Binance accounted for 48.6% of the overall total. The largest single liquidation was about $8.78 million on Binance’s BTCUSDT trading pair.
