> The weekly tally was current at 8 a.m. ET Nov. 2. Bitmine held 6,060,506 ETH as of Nov. 1, with 5,227,037 ETH staked.

Publicly listed firms outside the mining sector recorded $75.49 million in net Bitcoin (BTC) purchases for the week ending Nov. 1, an 85.2% decline from the week before that marks a sharp pullback in corporate demand. The tally was measured at 8 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC) Nov. 2.

The previous week’s figure was about $510 million, based on the earlier weekly tally of public-company Bitcoin buying. The new total remained positive, indicating the group continued to buy more than it sold on a net basis, but at a much slower pace. Tracked listed companies excluding miners held 1,168,864 BTC, valued at about $91.16 billion, equal to 5.8% of Bitcoin’s circulating market capitalization. Their combined holdings were 0.09% higher than two weeks earlier.

Strategy bought 811 BTC at an average price of $80,846 per coin, spending about $65.5 million. Its Bitcoin holdings reached 849,327 BTC. Strive, an asset management firm, announced Nov. 2 that it bought 124 BTC during the week for about $9.99 million, paying an average of $80,526 per coin. Its reserve rose to approximately 43,124 BTC. The two purchases totaled about $75.49 million, matching the reported net-buying figure. Metaplanet, which is listed in Japan, made no Bitcoin purchases during the same period.

The weekly purchase total and the group’s holdings measure different things: one captures net activity during the week, while the other is the tracked companies’ accumulated BTC balance. The 0.09% increase compares that balance with its level two weeks earlier. Mining companies are excluded from both the weekly tally and the holdings total.

Bitmine also increased its Ether (ETH) holdings, disclosing an addition of 8,573 ETH. As of Nov. 1, it held 6,060,506 ETH, or about 4.9% of total Ether supply. The company had staked 5,227,037 ETH, equal to 86% of its holdings. At an ETH price of $2,261, the staked amount was valued at about $11.8 billion; annualized staking rewards were estimated at about $358 million. Bitmine’s crypto, cash and other investments totaled about $14.5 billion, including $498 million in cash and marketable securities, 216 BTC, a $180 million equity stake in Beast Industries and an $82 million investment in Eightco Holdings.
