> Sandisk slid 17.04% as chip and storage shares led market losses.

U.S. chip and storage shares led market losses as the Philadelphia semiconductor index fell 11.48% in its latest update, putting it on course for its sharpest one-day drop since March 2020. The move is relevant to crypto traders monitoring risk appetite across U.S. technology markets.

Sandisk (SNDK) fell 17.04%, the largest decline among the seven stocks listed. Western Digital (WDC) lost 15.26%, Seagate (STX) slid 13.71%, and Micron (MU) dropped 13.20%. Storage and memory names were among the weakest performers in the update.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) declined 13.53%. Nvidia (NVDA) fell 7.23%, and Intel (INTC) was down 7.01%.

Five of the seven stocks fell by at least 13%, and every listed company was lower. Losses ranged from 7.01% at Intel to 17.04% at Sandisk, a 10.03 percentage-point gap. The decline adds a sharp equity-market signal for crypto traders monitoring broader risk appetite.
