Nasdaq approved the listing application for Canary Capital’s proposed Canary Staked INJ ETF, advancing a U.S. fund tied to Injective (INJ) while public trading remains conditional on the fund’s S-1 registration statement becoming effective.

The fund plans to stake at least 90% of its INJ holdings under normal conditions. Its proposal makes staking a secondary objective alongside exposure to the value of the INJ it holds, after operating expenses and other liabilities. BitGo will serve as custodian.

An Oct. 23 amendment named Nasdaq as the proposed listing venue and INJC as the ticker, replacing Cboe BZX in the previous amendment. The approval advances that listing process, but does not mean the shares are available to trade. The shares cannot trade publicly until the S-1 registration statement becomes effective. No date for that step or the start of trading is provided.
