> Open interest stayed near $53.4 billion, while U.S. ETF inflows covered only part of recent withdrawals. Bitcoin shorts accounted for about $300 million of crypto futures liquidations over 24 hours.

Bitcoin's rebound after an early Wednesday slide showed limited evidence of fresh demand, with futures open interest little changed and U.S. ETF inflows reversing only part of recent withdrawals.

Bitcoin (BTC) futures open interest remained near $53.4 billion during the recovery, suggesting little new leveraged activity alongside the move.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $74 million in net inflows Wednesday, Nov. 4, after more than $400 million in outflows across the previous two trading sessions. The Coinbase Premium Index remained negative, pointing to continued weakness in U.S. spot demand.

Crypto futures short liquidations totaled $450 million over 24 hours. About $300 million involved Bitcoin shorts, the largest Bitcoin total since Sept. 21. The liquidation figures point to traders closing bearish positions as a major contributor to the rebound.
