> Edison Yu estimated most of SpaceX’s computing capacity would be outside Texas in 2027, at eight to 10 gigawatts.

Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu said concerns about political retribution against Elon Musk after Democrats' midterm wins may be more perception than reality, as Musk's companies deal mostly with agencies in the executive branch.

Yu connected the perceived risk to Musk's financial support for Republicans. He said Congress has ways to interfere, while nearly all of Musk's companies' dealings are with executive agencies, which remain under Republican control.

Yu also addressed Texas, where voters elected a Democratic governor Nov. 3. He estimated most of SpaceX's computing capacity would be outside the state in 2027, at eight to 10 gigawatts, and said the political shift would not affect his near-term estimates.

Ron Baron, founder and CEO of Baron Capital and a longtime SpaceX backer, said many Democrats elected in the midterms had spoken negatively about Musk.
