Fortitude has appointed Kimberly Pittman as chief legal officer as the Zcash (ZEC) mining platform advances its proposed business combination with Nasdaq-listed HeartSciences.

Pittman will oversee Fortitude’s legal and regulatory affairs and assist with the proposed business combination.

She previously served as ReserveOne’s chief legal officer, general counsel and secretary. Before joining ReserveOne, Pittman was a vice president and deputy general counsel at HubSpot, where her work included corporate governance, board advisory matters, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and regulatory issues.

Pittman also held senior legal positions at SmileDirectClub and CBS Corporation.
