> The trader said tokenization and stablecoin infrastructure continue to draw institutional interest and credited Pump.fun with driving activity on Solana.

Crypto trader Ansem described the latest market downturn as the first major pullback since a late-June low and said it mainly liquidated highly leveraged bullish positions. He argued that the decline had not disrupted the broader uptrend or weakened demand for tokenization and stablecoin infrastructure.

Ansem, founder of BullpenFi and Market Bubble, pointed to strong institutional interest he observed at an industry gathering in Singapore. He said firms were continuing to work on tokenized assets and stablecoins, which he views as signs that market fundamentals remain firm.

On derivatives, Ansem said liquidity is spread across offshore venues, regulated exchanges and on-chain perpetual futures protocols. He warned that forced position closures during sharp market swings can trigger further liquidations and produce abrupt price moves that diverge from spot-market conditions.

Ansem described Bitcoin (BTC) as a macro store of value and MemeFi as a way for retail participants to engage with attention-driven crypto markets. He contrasted meme tokens with venture-backed projects, which he criticized for high valuations, low circulating supply and large scheduled token unlocks. Those features, in his view, can make it harder for ordinary buyers to participate on equal terms.

He also credited Pump.fun with lowering the barrier to launching tokens and drawing users and trading activity to Solana. Ansem acknowledged criticism that the platform can encourage traders to compete against one another, but argued that its activity has reinforced Solana’s position as a venue for retail crypto users.
