# Actinium Names Former CorMedix CFO Matt David as Finance Chief

Actinium Pharmaceuticals announced Thursday, Oct. 15, that Matt David, M.D., would serve as chief financial officer and principal financial officer, putting him in charge of finance, accounting, capital markets and investor relations.

David most recently held the roles of executive vice president and chief business officer at CorMedix. He was the company’s CFO from May 2020 to August 2025 and interim CEO from October 2021 to May 2022. His experience spans more than two decades in biopharmaceutical operating leadership, health care investment banking and equity research.

Actinium’s previous CFO, Steve O’Loughlin, resigned effective Feb. 27, 2026. Chairman and CEO Sandesh Seth then assumed the principal financial officer role. Seth called David “an exceptional addition to our leadership team.”

Actinium develops targeted radiotherapies. Its ATNM-400 program is in a first-in-human Phase 1 study for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.
