# Mattel Names Peter Griffith CFO and Adds Him to Its Board

> Outgoing CFO Paul Ruh will advise Mattel through Dec. 31 during the leadership transition.

Mattel will put Peter Griffith in charge of its finances and appoint him to its board on Oct. 20, adding a longtime Amgen executive to its leadership.

Griffith will report to Roger Lynch, Mattel’s chairman and CEO. He will replace Paul Ruh, Mattel’s outgoing CFO, who will advise the company through Dec. 31 during the handoff.

Griffith held Amgen’s executive vice president and CFO roles from January 2020 through August 2026. He continued as an executive vice president at the company after leaving the CFO role.
