Temporal named Michael Marcantonio CEO as the Solana infrastructure company enters a growth phase spanning block building, trading and transaction execution across its product lineup.

Marcantonio previously led decentralized finance at Galaxy Digital. His background includes onchain trading, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He described his aim at Temporal as to “reengineer the global financial system.” Temporal has said it aims to build the future of finance onchain.

The company’s products include Harmonic, a block-building client; Humidifi, a proprietary automated market maker; and Nozomi, an execution layer. Harmonic competes with Jito in block building on Solana.

Humidifi uses a professional market maker that quotes its own prices onchain. The three products cover different parts of trading activity on the network, from building blocks to executing transactions.
