> Aubin is also scheduled to leave three other executive roles as John Abularrage and Sean Windeatt remain co-CEOs.

BGC Group plans to move co-CEO JP Aubin into its vice chairman role at year-end, leaving John Abularrage and Sean Windeatt to continue leading the company’s regions and businesses.

BGC announced the transition Nov. 3. It is scheduled to take effect at the end of business on Dec. 31, 2026. The change has not yet taken effect.

Aubin is also scheduled to leave his roles as CEO of EMEA, co-global head of Financial Services Brokerage and executive officer. The co-CEOs may designate him to another position.

As vice chairman, Aubin will report to Abularrage and Windeatt, who will determine his duties. The two executives will remain co-CEOs and continue overseeing BGC’s regions and businesses. “Our strategy is unchanged,” Abularrage said.

BGC’s board named Aubin, Abularrage and Windeatt co-CEOs effective Feb. 18, 2025. Aubin joined BGC in 2005 and has led its EMEA business as CEO since 2008.
