Toady Hawk said he has taken over as CEO of Clanker and plans a brand refresh, stock trading pairs and broader blockchain support as the token-launch platform resumes product development.

Clanker began on Farcaster about two years ago. Users could create tokens by posting and tagging the project’s official account. It later expanded to X and became one of the main token-launch platforms in the Base ecosystem.

The project has undergone founding-team changes, a sale to Farcaster and a transfer to Neynar. Mask Network now oversees Clanker and is working with an engineering team on product upgrades.

Hawk also plans to improve communication with the community.
