> The Sept. 24 update lists BCASH, XENIOS Blockchain Group, Capital Wallet Greece and Piraeus Bank under the European Union’s crypto framework.

Four Greek crypto-asset service providers appear in the European Union’s interim MiCA register, while Binance has withdrawn its application for authorization in Greece and plans to apply elsewhere in the bloc.

The register update dated Sept. 24, 2026, lists BCASH SOCIETE ANONYME, XENIOS BLOCKCHAIN GROUP S.A., CAPITAL WALLET GREECE S.A. and PIRAEUS BANK Société Anonyme (S.A.).

BCASH was authorized June 30, 2026, to exchange crypto-assets for funds. XENIOS and Capital Wallet received authorization July 22, 2026.

XENIOS is authorized to receive and transmit crypto-asset orders for clients. Capital Wallet’s listed services include custody, crypto-asset exchange, order execution, order reception and transmission, and transfers.

The register lists Piraeus Bank but does not provide an authorization date or service scope for the institution.

Binance withdrew its MiCA application with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission on June 24. The company said it would pursue authorization in another European Union member state, adding that it had withdrawn “with no formal decision as the MiCA transition period comes to an end.”

Binance also said it supports MiCA’s goal of establishing a consistent regulatory framework for crypto assets across the European Union.

MiCA, or the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, sets common rules for crypto-asset issuance, trading and related services across the bloc. Authorized crypto-asset service providers can use the framework’s passporting system to offer approved services in other EU member states after meeting notification requirements.

The transitional period for MiCA ended July 1, 2026. Providers operating under pre-existing national rules could continue until that date or until authorization was granted or refused, whichever came first.

The interim register is updated weekly, and entries may appear after national authorization decisions. The four Greek firms are listed as the country’s registered crypto-asset service providers in the Sept. 24 update.
