> Chairman James Comer’s Sept. 29 letters give Crypto.com, Hyperliquid Labs and PredictIt operator Aristotle Exchange until Oct. 13 to respond.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is seeking identity-verification and suspicious-trading records from Crypto.com, Hyperliquid Labs and Aristotle Exchange, the operator of PredictIt, in an expanded review of online trading platforms.

Letters dated Sept. 29 request documents covering Jan. 1, 2024, through the present. Each company has until Oct. 13 to respond.

The letters seek information about customer screening, geographic controls, systems for identifying unusual activity and any reports to federal agencies. Crypto.com also faces questions about U.S. access to its international platform and whether employees or affiliates traded around token listings, custody decisions or other company actions.

The PredictIt request seeks records involving trades tied to elections, nominations, confirmations, legislation and other government activity. It also asks about the removal of a per-contract trader limit under CFTC Letter No. 25-20.

The committee began its broader inquiry May 22, initially examining Polymarket and Kalshi. It said that review has produced nearly 1,000 documents and five briefings. The new requests seek information; they do not establish that any platform violated the law or that insider trading occurred.
