Binance will change its crypto deposit and withdrawal procedures for Brazilian users on Nov. 1, 2026, requiring additional details for specified international transfers under a central bank resolution.

The requirements apply to transfers involving users’ own accounts abroad, nonresident individuals or companies, foreign exchanges and self-custody wallets. Users must provide the transfer’s purpose and confirm the identity of the sender or beneficiary. Transfers within Brazil are unaffected.

For international crypto transfers involving a counterparty not authorized to operate in Brazil’s foreign-exchange market, the limit will be $100,000 per transaction. That cap may later rise to $500,000.

Withdrawals missing required information cannot be submitted, while deposits will remain pending. The collected information will be reported monthly to the Central Bank of Brazil under Resolution No. 521/2025.

The changes address the central bank’s foreign-exchange rules for virtual assets and are separate from the Travel Rule. Brazil plans to introduce Travel Rule requirements in stages during 2027 and 2028.
