> AI.gov now uses “SI GOV” branding, but its web address, search metadata and several links still use “AI” and “artificial intelligence.”

President Donald Trump is pressing federal agencies to replace “artificial intelligence” with “Super Intelligence,” or “SI,” while the administration’s AI.gov website continues to use both terms in an incomplete rebrand.

Trump wrote on Truth Social on Oct. 8 that people who use “artificial intelligence” instead of “Super Intelligence” are enemies. His post did not clarify whether the remark concerned government personnel or everyone else.

The formal federal policy is Executive Order 14434, titled “Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence,” which Trump signed Sept. 29. The order directs executive departments and agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in official correspondence, public communications, websites, reports, policy documents and other nonstatutory documents.

The order contains no penalties and applies to federal agencies, not private speech. [The directive and its uneven adoption across federal websites](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/regulation/28381>) were previously detailed in coverage of the terminology change.

AI.gov changed its branding Oct. 8, replacing its logo with “SI GOV.” Its main headline now uses the executive order’s title, while a statement about the United States competing for global leadership uses “super intelligence” instead of “artificial intelligence.” The browser title also changed from “AI Strategy” to “SI Strategy.”

The transition is not complete. The site still uses ai.gov as its web address, and its tab title begins with “AI.Gov.” Search metadata continues to use “artificial intelligence,” while the site’s organization name remains “AI.Gov.” Links labeled “AI Education” and “Presidential AI Challenge” also retain the original terminology.

The executive order gives the White House technology adviser 60 days to propose legislative language establishing a federal definition for SI. That places the expected deadline around late November.
