> The Monetary Authority of Singapore listed Hyperliquid’s websites on June 26, saying users may wrongly view the platform as licensed or regulated.

Singapore’s financial regulator has added Hyperliquid to its Investor Alert List, warning that users may wrongly perceive the decentralized crypto trading platform as licensed or regulated by the authority.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) listed Hyperliquid on June 26, along with the Hyper Foundation website at hyperfoundation.org and the trading application at app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade.

MAS describes the list as a consumer-protection register for entities that may be mistaken for providers authorized or regulated in Singapore. Inclusion does not itself amount to a ban, enforcement action or finding of wrongdoing.

Hyperliquid said the listing does not constitute a ban, enforcement action or finding of wrongdoing. The platform also said it “has never claimed to be” licensed or authorized by MAS.

Hyperliquid offers perpetual futures, a type of derivative that allows traders to maintain positions without a fixed expiration date. The listing adds to regulatory scrutiny of offshore and decentralized trading platforms that operate through permissionless infrastructure.
