> The address sent 411.45 BTC to a new, unlabeled address; the transaction does not show whether the coins were sold.

A Bitcoin address named in a New York ownership lawsuit moved 411.45 Bitcoin (BTC), worth an estimated $33.44 million, on Sunday, Oct. 18, after more than 13 years without an outgoing transaction.

The transfer was recorded at 2:23 p.m. ET (18:23:34 UTC) in block 972,036. The address first received funds on Sept. 11, 2013, and had not previously sent coins. It sent the BTC to a new, unlabeled address. The market estimate does not establish that a sale occurred.

The address is among 39,069 included in a lawsuit by ABC Company, XYZ Company and Noah Doe. The plaintiffs are asking a New York court to recognize their ownership of the addresses and their contents under state lost-property law. The case remains active.

The plaintiffs allege the addresses had been inactive for at least five years and say they took steps to notify potential owners. The transfer shows someone was able to spend the BTC from this address, but does not establish who authorized it or who legally owns the coins.
