> The confidential PS-01 form will track unpaid tokens and redemption times; both initial report dates depend on Office of Management and Budget approval.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) set Jan. 25, 2027, as the first weekly reporting date under its stablecoin rule, with the schedule subject to Office of Management and Budget approval.

The first quarterly report date is March 31, 2027, also pending OMB approval. The rule’s confidential PS-01 form will track unpaid tokens, average redemption times and amounts unpaid for more than two business days.

The [OCC’s GENIUS Act rule](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/regulation/37142>) takes effect Jan. 18, 2027. It removes a proposed automatic seven-calendar-day extension when redemptions pass a threshold. If requests for one stablecoin brand exceed 10% of its circulating amount in a 24-hour period, the issuer must notify the OCC within 24 hours. Whether to extend processing time is left to the regulator’s discretion.

The ordinary processing limit for qualifying redemption requests is two business days. A redemption is timely when the issuer initiates payment or, at the customer’s request, credits an account with the issuer. A bank’s later credit to the customer is a separate step.
