> The Oct. 14 record names CEO Eric Chen among four Injective Labs representatives. Chen met with White House, SEC and CFTC officials in Washington that day.

SEC Crypto Task Force staff met with Injective Labs and Blockchain Association representatives Oct. 14 to discuss proposed rules for transfer agents, a role held by an Injective affiliate.

The meeting included five SEC Crypto Task Force staff members, four Injective Labs representatives—including CEO Eric Chen—and two Blockchain Association representatives. The proposed Transfer Agent Rules were one of the topics discussed.

Injective said Chen met with White House, SEC and Commodity Futures Trading Commission officials in Washington on Oct. 14. The company said its general counsel, head of policy and head of research joined him. The SEC meeting record names no White House or CFTC participants and does not document meetings with those offices.

The proposal would amend existing rules and forms for registered transfer agents, add two rules and rescind one existing rule. It was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 4, with comments due Nov. 3.

Transfer agents maintain issuer records of securities ownership and record ownership changes. Injective Institutional Services, an Injective affiliate, is registered with the SEC as a transfer agent.

An [earlier account of Chen's Washington meetings](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/33683>) dated them Oct. 15; the SEC meeting record gives Oct. 14 for the agency session.
