> The tally counts for-profit corporate contributions of at least $5,000. A separate estimate tracks crypto-aligned groups’ election spending through Oct. 20.

Crypto companies contributed $206 million to super PACs and hybrid PACs through the second quarter of 2026, a measure of money given to political committees rather than what they spent on midterm races.

The total counts for-profit corporate contributions of at least $5,000. Crypto-aligned groups had spent roughly $176 million across more than 100 races by Oct. 20, including $150.8 million from Fairshake and its affiliates and about $25 million from other groups. The contribution and spending figures use different measures and reporting periods and should not be combined.

Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said, “We back pro-crypto candidates who support American innovation in both parties.”

On Sept. 15, senators voted 49-50 against invoking cloture on a motion to proceed to the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. The vote left the bill at the motion-to-proceed stage and did not decide its final passage.
