> The Friday notice raises the total from 38 two days earlier; the objections apply to third-party tokens on OKXICE’s venue.

OKXICE’s Friday, Oct. 30, notice lists 50 issuers objecting to third-party tokens tracking their shares on its planned venue, including Nvidia and Nike among 12 names added since Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The previous notice listed 38 objectors. Costco, Micron and Reddit also joined the list, alongside CrowdStrike, Corning, IREN, USA Rare Earth, Bloom Energy, Palo Alto Networks and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

The SEC’s Sept. 17 conditional exemption sets a 30-calendar-day window for issuers to object after receiving notice from a venue seeking to offer an unaffiliated third party’s tokenized stock. A timely written objection bars that token from trading on the venue under the exemption. The restriction applies to the venue that sent the notice and to third-party tokens; it does not cover issuer-sponsored tokens.

OKXICE LLC is a 50-50 joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange Holdings Inc. and OKC USA Holding Inc. Its planned venue would use permissioned Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on XLayer.
