# FINRA Sets Nov. 3 Deadline for Next Short-Position Reports

Firms have until Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. ET to submit short-position reports for the Oct. 30 settlement date, with publication scheduled for Nov. 10 under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's (FINRA) calendar.

FINRA’s rules call for two short-position filings each month for equity securities. Each report is due by 6 p.m. ET on the second business day after its designated settlement date.

The previous listed cycle covered an Oct. 15 settlement date. Reports for that cycle were due Oct. 19 by 6 p.m. ET, with publication scheduled for Oct. 26.
