Former FBI agent Patrick Yaroch was scheduled for a plea-agreement hearing Nov. 5 in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia, in a case involving about $1 million in digital assets allegedly taken from wallets linked to a hostile nation.

Court records allege Yaroch took the assets from the wallets. The hearing was set before U.S. District Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles. Prosecutors said Yaroch used ChatGPT to plan a move to Portugal.
