Akamai Technologies announced a seven-year, $11.6 billion agreement with Anthropic, sharply expanding the companies’ cloud relationship and giving Akamai its largest contract to date.

The agreement builds on a previous $1.8 billion contract for cloud-computing services. Anthropic, the U.S. artificial-intelligence company behind the Claude model, is expanding its computing capacity through the deal.
